aboogabooga blogging from my uncle's place using my aunt's laptop. freaking, i think the inventor of laptops mustve been a woman. i mean smaller and closer keys plus my fat fingers just dont work out to a good combination. and the mouse is tiny, its like if i were to hold it in the same position as i would my normal mouse, my fingers would extend over the buttons duh. so anyway am typing all this out with some difficulty and many spelling errors.
so! yesterday (and this morning for that matter), was in two words: in-sane. super eventful time, all in all basically a night which will remain etched in my memory for a long time. yessiree, 100% recollection, albeit abit hazy, as seen through my half closed eyes. met up with tengchi at bishan mrt station because i had an external run earlier. trooped down to my place to pick up some stuff and then headed over to laguna national. i pretty much called everyone, trying to figure out which part of the resort they were at. turns out they were at the pool duh, no wonder nobody picked up the phone.
so anyway the room was pretty nice. relatively big living room area, i mean heck if it could contain like what 16 or so of us in a circle then its not too shabby considering the room's probably meant for 2 ppl. there was an avalanche of chocs and sweets, a whole mountain range of chips, and a gigantic pyramid of drinks (soft, not alcoholic, that comes later). by the time we got there, angela, nat, jason, william, keith, mark and andrew were already there. we started off playing some game which william intro'd to us, was called trash the dealer or something to that effect. later on, weiyuan, joses, debbie and kenneth came and we started playing beer pong. haha was freaking hard to play since the plastic cups were really small and anything less than a precise shot wouldnt have scored it. much later, zhiyang and louisa came as well, bringing with them a product of thailand, the pomster himself. i mean how funky is that! with the exception of mel (who apparently was there earlier but left b4 we arrived)
everyone came! by everyone naturally i've not included those who were geographically illplaced to attend heh. yes im referring to yp, siska, martin and the like. so when everybody arrived, the real festivities started. firstly there was much present swapping. yes, thank you for the shirt yall, will wear it in good health. similarly hope yall didnt find the custom made sbone keychain too tacky and stuff. also commenced on the "main course" of the night, which was playin 3 kings. the game's funny as hell especially the times were rules can be implemented and the rhyme, question and category cards. who will forget the priceless moment when nat implemented the no names allowed rule and
countless people were screwed over by that rule? or when zhiyang tried to pass of swimming pool as a rhyme for zoo? or when tengchi of all ppl, got caught out answering debbie's question instead of following up with another? and most certainly not forgetting the category gaffes including zhiyang answering cape town and me answering guatemala in response to countries in africa category. now that i think about it, i really did think guatemala was in africa wat! haha my gen knowledge sucks, so sue me.
after that we went to play with sparklers to celebrate our own version of a new year countdown at 12.30am on the 30th of december no less! kenna chase by a security guard summore. was making full use of the opportunity to state that whilst i cant walk straight, im ok! i think i was abit zonked out by the drinks seriously. i vaguely remember hugging the metal frame of a tarpless tent and muttering rubbish. after we went back to our rooms, many of the guys were KO'd and went to sleep inside. leaving like andrew, tengchi, william, joses, mark, the girls and myself to continue playing categories. after several toilet breaks i was feeling better and more alert, so was handling the game fairly well. well, that was before tengchi screwed me over with some physics cateogory thingy which duh i didnt know. so had to drink, which made me dimmer, which increased chances of having to drink in subsequent round etc. before i knew it i was seriously impaired the mental faculties area, unable to come up with answers in the types of makeup, former sg presidents categories just to name a few. BUT for all my retardedness, tengchi is still the champion. just check out this excerpt:

omg it still gives me stitches thinking about that. thats like the funniest shite i've heard. EVER. anyway i cant remember which 2 categories i messed up in, but i remember i got hit by a double whammy resulting in having to drink 2 shots of vile tasting liquid. no really, it was vile. i mean the beer and absolut peach and stuff was fine but THAT was ugh! after that double shot my eyes were closing. and when i saw mark KO'd on the chair, i gave up and joined him haha. slept from like 5+ to 7, by which time those who didnt sleep came back with breakfast. but i skipped it cos i wasnt hungry at all. after that, most of the incidents worthy of mention would have passed, with the exception of that of william smashing the glass table-top panel thingy which he'd already cracked the night before. we couldnt find a place to dispose of one particularly big shard of glass so kenneth simply carried it out along with his other stuff. so imagine this, we're all carrying our stuff out and of cos kenneth is carrying the glass, and we walk past a cleaner and 2 or 3 different security guards but nobody notices i thing. i swear i couldve burst out laughing. i mean that just totally shows that if u do something so duh-ish that noone expects it, then it must be a stroke of genius.
took a lift home from mark and slept from like 10+ to 1+ heh. oh yes forgot to mention 2 other events. mainly the stripping of jason and joses (wassup with the j's?) resulting in photographs taken of a battlescarred ass and a beer covered ass respectively.
omg what a night. simply memorable. oh and just for the record, joses did not cover his own ass with beer, he has some ahhh "assistance"

ahh rather slack day at the office today. practically none of the ossifers were in for the first half of the day, but then the blardy geethree decided to pop in when he's on leave. freaking hell, he dun want to go on leave then go moonlight somewhere else la. really pisses me off when we hafta stay behind just to lock up cos those ossifers havent left yet. i mean like if stay overtime to finish up work that needs completing, then fine ya know? but freaking hell, just to lock your damn door? do it yourself mutha, think they're king and we're slave or wat sia. democratic my gonads. actually no need to get so worked up, i wasnt on duty today heh, but i was yesterday! and prob for countless more days to come until i can wiggle my ass at this green ident card and get back a pink one. anw so far the new dude still seems quite lost, very sullen too heh. perhaps he's ill at ease cause these few days we've been conversing in english mostly. but hey, i told him outright would he prefer engrund or cheena and he said either's fine so there! well hope he doesnt give problems la anyway. also dunno if he has family probs or the like. kinda hard to tell nowadays with all the kinds of ppl i meet since enlisting. just played a game of dota, too outstanding apparently, the other team left real quick. no mood to play some more since zhenghao isnt around. skdjlkas wish my football manager didnt conk out on me grumble. well one of my colleagues went zouk yesterday haha but he said it was damn lame cos he only went with one male friend. if cant go in a mixed group, at least in a large group of guys i guess. apparently it was damn crowded again. i reckon paul and joel must be right, it really is
international fuckcare week haha. so everyone just fuggit and go chiong. wonder if any classmates went last night, no idea since didnt hear anything from anybody. that's just typical though. sometimes i really question the sincerity involved. i was always under the impression that when one was thinking about doing something or going somewhere fun, a friend is someone to call along. this is totally exemplified by that core group of friends i've had since sec sch. hell even other jc friends (as in other
jc friends not
other jcfriends) of mine do that. having said that of course this outburst isnt directed at everyone. i have specific ppl in mind naturally. but on the whole im left with a sour taste. ray was commenting that "wah ur class is still united" when i mentioned we were meeting up. united? nah. more like in contact. yes that is. thats the missing classification that ive finally thought of. we meet up occasionally and do stuff together. just what ppl would do to stay in contact. united is when u go through/do all sorts of stuff together and u know for a fact even without the dude/dudette saying it, that he/she has got yo back. and THATS sorely lacking. volatile post keke, let's see if anyone has anything to say.
arghgablagblaharhg just reached home a little while ago. like 1 1/2 hrs later than usual. all because of some jkaxdhkasjh meeting which ended slkadjlkasdj-ing late. HAD to be me who was on duty again. grrr cant those ossifers go home early when im having duty grumble. anyway felt slightly better today after popping 2 panadols and sleeping at an obscenely early time of 9+ yesterday. hmm 2 more days before the mega gathering on friday night haha. prob will be the best-est one of the entire dec period. unfortunately i think its prob the last-est also considering in like a week's time everyone will be back to their ordinary schedules ie. no leave, no break, no holiday. i wonder if anyone's gonna go zouk tonight. freaking all my colleagues on leave, bet they wouldve gone otherwise keke.
ugh, was just playing dota and lost cos of some idiot who quit, making a 4v4 become a 3v4. to make things worse, one of my teammates sucked. big time. bah, anyway not feeling too good. abit feverish i expect. prob gonna slp soon
man past few days without football to watch seemed soooo long. last night was a relief! i mean not watching football on weeknights is ok, but somehow no football on weekends leaves it incomplete hehe. rahrah man utd won. but chelsea and arsenal both scraped past ehh shucks. so anyways, made it past the first day of the workweek yay! not feeling too well to be honest, but i doubt i'll take mc la, cos now in the office its like just me and joel. as it is this morning there were already a few officers using me for target practice, arrow here and there haha. oh yes also picked up
the goods today. hmm somehow i get the feeling im forgetting something. oh well i'll figure it out soon enough.
ahhh ok think i've finally put the finishing touches on my blog by adding those bright lime green text baby! and the cute little mouse trail that says daft daryl all over haha. yeah ok was bored. anyway christmas has come and practically gone oh no! went LAN with zh, alex and the rest of the canoeist ppl, hmm abit extra cos i pseudo-canoeist only haha but hey, treat me as foreign talent lor! lost the first 2 games sigh, but last game of -ar rather than -ap, alex, zh, wy, bill and myself won. which just goes to show that they won the earlier games because they're one trick ponies haha! while we're more adapable cheh! no la but onetrickponies or otherwise, was wellplayed. full credit to everyone. except alex haha who didnt seem to know what he was doing keke. man sure feels like a long weekend already. and theres STILL another day tmr, huzzah!
Eh daryl teng chi here I think i edited the problem liao, works in both netscape and IE for me. (Was working in Netscape when I read ur msg haha, so I tot wtf u asking me abt). Btw might I suggest some creative changes, like the post title underlining graphic being shorter than the date one? Should be easy enough to edit, but right now the blog should be ok la.
