MIND SHARDS

as always when i happen to be online, i usually check out 2 bloggers who usually have very entertaining material. mainly rockson and xiaxue. rockson is funny as hell haha, what with the use (abuse maybe :D) of colourful language. vulgarities pepper his entries but not in an insulting way. his topics are usually pretty applicable to current events as well. now xiaxue on the other hand, is extremely controversial. she's gone from being the most recognised blogger in the region, to a well.. suffice to say, she's fallen from grace. i used to think that "hey her posts are just tongue-in-cheek and ppl should just lighten up and get a life". this is especially so regarding the whole handicap toilet issue.

after reading her latest entry about moderating comments though, i was appalled. sickened. angry. etc. she basically belittled everyone other than herself. making callous jokes. being so self-absorbed and using terms like "my superior intellect". she also talks about how she purposely deletes long replies, thus preventing them being published, from ppl who have criticized her. what? does she think she's maddox now? it's not even remotely funny. well i hope she was angry when she wrote the post because if she meant it to be funny, it's in extremely poor taste. i could go on, really.. about how she says the "general public is stupid" and such. IMHO the only stupid ppl are those who are still willing to be nose-led by her into believing that such stuff is actually funny. i find no humour in a blog entry dripping with arrogance and vindictiveness. now if perhaps that tshirt company will stop sponsoring her then she will get the message that quite plainly: she's turning into a grade A arsehole jerk.
