just got back from mini class outing at esplanade. gosh i luv the place, its only 4.8km from my house as i found out from the cabbie receipt. started out at harry's with pom, zhiyang, weiyuan, andrew, tengchi and myself. found out what margaritas were and also played finger guessing haha. cant really say i like it, the drink i mean. but heck, gotta try once aye? the game had barely progressed when andrew and weiyuan both had several "bimbo" moments as zhiyang put it. was like "5!" then they showed 10 haha. adjourned to glutton's bay for supper. bigshot came, followed by keith and his gf, then angela. the stalls were all still open at like 11+ so considering the lack of ppl, service was fast. haha pom mustve had the most satisfaction among us cos he was pigging out on chicken wings, hokkien mee, carrot cake and stingray. good stuff i must say. anyway he sponsored a significant portion of the total bill tonight so BIG THANKS dude, tho i wonder if u'll ever stumble here heh. well was nice just chatting and stuff for like 2+ hrs? andrew showed me the latest addition to his keys/keyring - the sbone keychain! haha cool, am honoured. was telling him how it was nice that after a whole year everyone still makes the effort to get together at get-togethers, and that hopefully in the future it'll be the same. he said yeah even for 20 years. and here i was just thinking about the next year haha. but good good, 20 years! we have a pretty solid foundation i believe. actually it wouldnt have been unreasonable to suggest that cracks wouldve formed since most guys are in NS and the others are studying, either local or abroad. i suppose the next leap will be when the NS guys are studying whilst the rest start working. hmm all this talk of small and big jumps reminds me of the electron configuration of atoms and the relationship with orbitals etc haha.
