was checking out the cards from nat and tengchi. somehow cards can always convey an intimate message from sender to sendee receiver in a way like no other. for the sender, writing in a card is so personal cos u can fully express yourself without worrying about how the other person will react. and nobody is gonna go like "eh, remb that card u gave me? wah ur msg was damn gay man" etc etc. totally have nothing against more tangible gifts of course but say 10 years down the road, which will be more memorable? a present which would probably have outlived its usefulness, albeit serving faithfully during that period; or a personalised card filled with feeling, bringing with it fond memories of the past?

awww i guess im just overly sentimental la, perhaps even excessively so at times. put it this way: when a higher being was dishing out characteristics to babies born in 1986, i mustve accidentally gotten a double dose of SENTIMENTAL and SHY vitamins, then missing out the CHARISMATIC tonic.

anyway its like 2+ in the afternoon and im feeling sleepy. uhh dang.
