meh got dragged down to dbl-0 yesterday with the guys. wah reached home at like almost 9 after we all had dinner so was like reach home, chill, shower and go out again. pretty much had to drag my lethargic ass all the way to PS sia. i wanted to grab a bite while waiting for derren and jon but somehow ended up eating a whole nuggets' meal and mac's sia. shucks i wonder where it all goes to. when they arrived then we were heading towards park mall to take bus when at the road crossing jon met his friend. or rather it was the other way round la cos she noticed him. very pretty girl and i was thinking "oh she looks dressed for clubbing as well. wat a coincidence meeting a friend on the street like that"; so naturally i got a shock when jon told me she was 16. actually i still dont really believe it haha. i mean how! 16?! *shakes head in disbelief*
so right, met up with daniel, alvin and later edward at dbl-O itself. when i was told it was smaller than zouk i imagined really confined places and stuff but it was actually not that cramped. i mean zouk seems much bigger because of the cavernous setting of the whole place so its very high ceiling'd etc. but in terms of u know, ground area and all its actually not too shabby. had a bacardi breezer. now thats a more drinkable beverage at least. not those more concentrated stuff.. like that tequila shot i was coerced into drinking. bleh i swear the whole shot nearly came shooting back up man. ugh, thought i was gonna puke or something. so in summary the songs sucked and u know, pole dancing is really no big deal. wonder why ppl made such a big fuss of it last time. go figure
back to the office today! ugh my boss is back haha so yeah gonna get hounded and such for quite awhile i guess. inevitable. anyway went to maju again for soccer. reached there at like 3+, waited till 5 before rain stopped. and in the 10mins or so we played i conceded 3 goals wth. apparently im a lousier goalie than i thought. well i reckon im still a more natural AMC except i dont have the stamina to run like a racehorse zz. so anyway after playing for 10mins match was called off on account of lightning activity. and to make things worse, i scraped my knee AGAIN. it was just recovering from the injury i got on wednesday. now the WHOLE FREAKING LAYER is exposed and bright pink/red. argh argh argh, hurts even when i dont move my leg. oh shit oh shit and my boss warned me not to take mc as a result of going for the game haha. erps
havent had the time to blog much, partly owing to the fact that i've finally managed to fix a problem with my FM2006 not being able to start. so yeah anyway i'm slightly annoyed at having lost like 4 games in a row as Barcelona manager haha so i guess i'll be taking a little break from it. so past week's been pretty busy. rushing out reports, attending briefings/familiarisation sessions out of camp in preparation for the PRIDE day games (and what a terrible game it is too, but oh well since i was arrowed to represent..) and also field soccer against other teams. shucks man rushed down on friday to hopefully play the 2nd half of the game but by the time i arrived as a substitute, the final whistle was blown before i touched the ball. ARGH! $5 on cab fare for nth grumble. sigh workload at camp piling up and i reckon this is probably the period where the duty clerk is gonna stay till reaaaally late each day.
hmm saw the man utd game on cable yesterday. really disappointing man. they seemed to play with a lack of conviction at some points. although i must say, having played field soccer recently, even the S-League standard isnt TOO BAD in comparison haha. oh which reminds me, caught V for Vendetta earlier in the day with the tengs, josh etc. disturbing show to say the least. but the point is, having had the chance to catch up with the likes of luke, gordon and darren really got me noticing the "dormant"-links (for lack of a better expression) that i still have with all my (old?) friends. also miss hanging out with some of my jc classmates and just talking abt uhh stuff! still vividly remb all those times sitting at the void deck or someone's house or wherever and just ramble. hmm now that i think about it, im also reminded of the whacked out NYE party at Laguna haha. ahhhhhhh thinking abt all the shit i've to do tmr sucks.
havent updated in awhile hmm. anyway been plenty busy the past couple of days. represented Command Block in field soccer today. got hammered 5-1 wat the shit man. oh well hopefully we have more ppl available to play over the next 2 games. otherwise same embarrassing scorelines will result. mad tired. gonna sleep now
just finished playing a game with zh. wah freaking ownage sia. pushed like siao with techies while zh was pretty owning with luna also. freaking good considering one of our allies dropped whilst he was level one. 4v5 and they cant do shit mwahahaha. anyway did id*c in camp yesterday. wah quite shiok doing duty actually. can sleep until 6+ and dont need to friggin travel all across the island. ahh ok i think i better go and sleep now
wah last few days seems to have passed quite quickly. one moment its monday BAM lunch BAM soccer BAM go home. then its tuesday BAM lunch BAM tea BAM go home. wednesday BAM lunch BAM soccer BAM go home. then went with the guys to zouk haha. its someone's first time going again. and its not me this time! evil laugh. haha daniel was dressed like some italian Mafia boss. ah well everybody always makes a fashion faux pas the first time round. i recall i wore long sleeves last time and it was way hot after that. anw managed to stay for most of the nice songs before i left at around 2.15 cos i din wanna be TOO stoned for work the next day. alvin said i missed Call Me and Love in the 1st Degree. aiya haha such a shame, esp with the latter being one of the most recognised mambo songs. wahahah at work daniel was freaking stoned while edward was sick. alvin derren jon and myself were quite normal im happy to say :D haha the next day we were talking abt ppl's dressing that night. i mean their dressing makes you take notice for sure. but more often than not for the wrong reasons. i mean theres nothing wrong with dressing to bare of course, but sometimes its a tad overdoing it ya know? hmm was thinking of whether to give examples. ok i guess i shall for future reference when my memory goes haha.
1. COMPLETELY see-through top with black motifs and white bra. so yeah as you can imagine in the lighting ALL whites glow iridiscently so..
2. loose fitting top held together only by 2 strings tied into a knot at the back. i mean what happens if some asses pull it seriously.
3. and last but not least (but certainly funniest) these 2 dudes wearing long sleeves and shades. haha ok their dressing may not be THAT funny. but the funny part was that their were dancing REALLY vigorously. and with each other. uhh ok i guess it's one of those "you had to be there" kinda jokes.
anyway stayed back in camp on thursday cos of duty. quite good actually. then can get more sleep haha. dun need to travel. and next thing BAM its friday and now BAM its the weekend.
just played dota with the guys. going to the dentist tmr bah.
