so anyway this is how it goes - i've just boarded a bus right? so i head on to the upper deck since there are usually more seats there. turns out im right and there are only like a handful of people on the upper deck. so i'm about to sit down when i notice "holy shit! that's Hebe sitting there all by herself" now to non-listeners of chinese music, she's one third of the immensely popular (and talented) female pop trio S.H.E. so being a huge fan (of her in particular) i'm totally starstruck and proceed to sit in the seats directly in front of her. and then i turn around and explain that im a huge fan and i would be truly honoured if she would just sign in my autograph book. funny, last i checked im not david blaine nor criss angel so i dunno how i produced a book from nowhere for her to sign. i dont carry such books around in real life!!!! right moving on: i was ecstatic when she not only signed but wrote like a whole page worth of comments and stuff. here's the thing though, i was so eager to talk to her in r/l that i didnt take a second glance at her comments and just shoved them in my bag. oddly enough i remember absolutely nothing of the conversation. i only remember that when she was getting down at her stop, i rushed down after her and i remember the exact words i said "wait! please can i have ur handphone number or something so i can contact you again? no wait, u cant give it to me. if it gets out ur fans will hound u to no end. can i have ur email address instead? argh cant either because if it leaks out ur fans will spam you also! oh no oh no oh no! how do i contact you then??" to which she just smiled really sweetly and... I FREAKING WOKE UP! ARGHARHSADHFASHAHSFHARGHARGHARGH!
so basically not only did i not figure out how to contact her again (albeit in dreamland) but i never did get to read her comments in the "autograph book" either. im horrified. so tell me, is that a totally weird dream or wat. im not so concerned about the person in it (i mean yeah ok Hebe, sure, but it couldve been anyone else as far as im concerned) but more so the "starstruckedness" for lack of better word. i was just doing some thinking and all. and i was like "dang i sure would like to personally know someone great" by great i mean in terms of achievements and potential, and i dont mean academically. i must quickly add that this sudden desire doesnt stem from me wanting to freeload or anything like that, heavens no. i would very much want to look up to that person and marvel at how fortunate i am to cross paths with one destined to perform great things in life. i'd also like to learn as much as possible from him/her and get an idea of their perception of life and stuff since they're gonna be great (overused in this post, so kill me). i guess this stems from my knowing jeric. i mean knowing he's the programmer of x-x-x-x-x-x and that hes gonna go overseas to pursue his dream of x-x-x-x-x-x-x, x-x-x-x-x-x and x-x-x-x-x-x just makes me slack-jawed with awe. and he's really humble too. i truly admire his gifts and have absolutely no jealously whatsoever. haha i cant figure whats up with my thoughts nowadays.
ah well. gotta go sleep before i become like the walking dead tmr! oh yes tmr i shall remb to blog abt campus superstar finale. which also happens to be the only episode of the whole competition that i saw heh.
