so anyway i did promise that i would blog about the Campus Superstar finale. i was really pleasantly surprised by the standard of well, some, of the contestants. i mean i thought it was a lame show since well heck students cant be all THAT good if even open categories, like its predecessor Proj Superstar, wasnt completely impressive. the show totally vindicated itself. i mean the contestants sang very contemporary songs and it was very easy to appreciate. i get really fed up when other competition contestants sing challenging (read: hard to understand/appreciate) songs to impress. i mean if the layman like me cant understand whats the point dude. was really impressed with teresa and ok zhiyang too, i'll grudgingly admit. totally enjoyed the 2nd part of the show where it was down to the both of them. my fave section was definitely the duets. haha teresa was staring wide-eyed at junyang the whole time like "wow i cant believe he's singing with me!". i mean im not a girl, i wouldnt know the effect he has on girls but he definitely doesnt seem to be lacking in the looks department so.. anyways they were holding hands throughout the song and i was thinking no freaking way zhiyang is gonna top that. amazingly he did. i doubt anyone will forget a particular scene anytime soon. that is: the scene where sin huey twirled into his arms. i was aghast. was like "woah, how cool is that". and i also noted that after he won, the girls couldnt wait to go hug him and stuff. haha i'll bet he enjoyed that. well he should, cos i think he'll remb that for life.

anyway watching the finale has spurred on my interest in chinese music haha. been uhmmm obtaining new songs lately haha. schweet
