went to watch spiderman3 yesterday. i guess it's true that it couldve been better, what with there being so many main characters and not enough time. being an unashamedly biased spiderman fan, i still liked the movie. in fact i think my mind was made up about liking the movie from the time i realised that spiderman3 included the alien symbiote arc. black spidey and venom is my fave story-line! but by the time the movie ended, i missed the last bus. bugger, had to take a cab.

oh yeah also played soccer on labour day. we played against some other peeps who were already on court. also v pleased with myself for scoring a cracker of a goal. intercepted a goal kick and slammed a low shot into goal wheeee, havent done something like that in a long time. happy happy.

ah yes it just occurred to me. spiderman movies always seem to be filled with nuggets of information that wouldnt be out of place in a "the meaning of life" seminar. like in spidey1 we have the immortal "great power, great responsibility yadda etc" as well as a personal favourite "i missed the part where that's my problem". and that was of course a joke, so moving on- i cant remb the quotes in s2, so i'll just list some from s3.

Warning: If you consider quotes from the movies spoilers, then don't read on.

"everybody needs help sometimes.. even spiderman"
"revenge is like a poison, it'll slowly take you over"
and also the rather poignant "you want forgiveness? get a religion" :P
