at times like this, i hate it that im a man utd supporter. i think of the 10 years of support that has been in vain. i bemoan the fact that i raise the red devil flag because my dad, uncles and granddad have all been fervent red devils as well. why do i even bother wasting my time. i think of the legions of fans worldwide who have made man utd the most supported club in the world, whose hopes rest on the soft, pampered and unmotivated shoulders of these millionaire assholes. its actually painful just sitting at home watching them.

i gave up watching the game before halftime. and now with a clearer head i attempt to think more rationally. the heart is missing, that much is obvious. they basically dont give a shit if they lose, or even get thrashed by their fellow mancunians. i fail to comprehend this, for even the lowest denominator in society is territorial. apart from the heart though, im thinking the head needs examining. for sure, after many successful years at the helm of man utd, alex ferguson has well and truly lost it. he is unable to get the best out of the immensely skilled but arrogant cristiano ronaldo. he keeps faith in mikael silvestre, who has had more than his fair share of opportunities to provide his incompetence. he sells phil neville and suddenly does not have a holding midfielder. fletcher, o'shea? gimme a break. we are in the process of rebuilding blahblah. DAMNIT who gives a shit about your excuses FERGIE! u have been rebuilding for donkey years and are no closer to the title.

i'll never forgive him for hemming and hawing on arjen robben, allowing chelsea to nip him. i recall a newspaper article mentioning that Brian Clough, father of Burton manager Nigel Clough, led Nottingham Forest to 2 consecutive Champion's League titles (or the European Cup as it was known then) and was never knighted. yet Fergie comes along, wins it once and gets the title.

i suppose one could argue that after an incredible treble winning season, the only way u can go is down. but Fergie, need u be so eager to go there? do the world a favour Fergie, take you and your chewing gum away from MUFC. let someone with actual hunger to succeed in the highest echelon of soccer replace you. Fergie, i applaud you for past success, but i abhor you for your lack of grace in recognising that most definitely, your time is up.
