okaaaaay another vday has passed and for the fourth year in a row, had no events lined up for the day -.- well ok actually one could argue that for the past 20 years i've had nothing lined up but hey up till j1 nobody really gave a shit. i mean in sec sch was like "vday? screw that let's go LAN/bowling/movie" yadda yadda. ok it's rather sad that i'm always striking out. well actually it wouldnt be totally accurate to say that i keep striking out. after all i can only be considered to have participated once before. other times was always simply in the stands cheering on other ppl. somehow or rather feel that a relationship will really let one grow. it's inescapable. so anyway saw many couples on the way home (v depressing) and also saw many schoolgoers with flowers and stuff, which was actually even more depressing. i mean in school at least everyone could have a piece of vday in our little ways. i still remember vday in AC. one year (err cant remb which now..) they were playing Fools Rush In (Can't Help Falling In Love With You) by a*teens. i think it was j1 because i remember being rather overwhelmed by the whole experience haha. yes laugh, but most ppl are from single sex sec schools and are thus deprived. well apart from the music, there was also the decor adding to the ambience. and definitely not forgetting the flowers! haha the guys would buy flowers for the girls in class and then surprise them. ok not surprise after all it's anything but. but still! sigh the fun of it all.


sigh youth school life is fleeting. and i miss it suddenly
